✨ Give your clothes a second life at Vergetengoed

Do you have beautiful pieces in your closet that you no longer wear, but deserve a new home? Bring them to Vergetengoed!

You will receive:

  • 50% of the sales price as store credit at Vergetengoed

  • Or 40% of the sales price in your bank account
    You choose.

Because good clothes deserve a second round—to be worn by someone who loves them just as much as you once did. Together, we make the world a little more beautiful and less crowded.

This is how it works:

  1. Dive into your closet and choose the gems you no longer wear

  2. Send us a message with photos of the items and the quantity.

  3. We will let you know via WhatsApp if we are interested

  4. If so, we'll schedule a time together to come by.

  5. We select the pieces that fit the store

  6. Each item will be assigned a unique barcode and linked to your account.

Contribution conditions for Forgotten Goods

Do you have something special you'd like to contribute to Vergetengoed? Great! We'll explain how it works below, so we both know what to expect.

🧥 Bringing in clothing and accessories

You can bring us clothes, shoes, bags, or other accessories by appointment . We'll work with you to ensure they're a good fit for the store and the season.

💸 Sales and your compensation

We work with a barcode system, so that everything is neatly registered.

When you contribute, you choose how you want to be paid:

  • 40% of the sales price in your bank account

  • 50% of the sales price as store credit at Vergetengoed

Payments are made upon request (via email or phone) and within 7 days. The amount will only be paid out if the item is actually sold.

Price and marketability

We always do our best to sell your item at a fair price. Occasionally, we may adjust the price slightly or decide not to sell an item if it doesn't fit well in our collection. You are, of course, still entitled to your chosen percentage of the final sale price.

📆 Seasons & Pickup

We work in seasons:

  • Spring/summer: February to August

  • Autumn/winter: September to January

At the end of the season, you can collect your unsold items during the final month. Any items still hanging in the store after that and not collected will be donated to charity.

Safety & Responsibility

We handle everything you bring with care. The store is well-secured, but it remains your property until it is sold. Therefore, bringing items in is at your own risk . We cannot be held liable for damage, loss, or theft.
